NFC Antennas for Reliable Contactless Communication in Smart Devices
NFC Antennas Are Enabling Smarter Contactless Experiences Contactless interaction has become an increasingly important part of modern electronic devices. From tapping a smartphone for payment to unlocking a smart door or pairing connected devices, Near Field Communication, commonly known as NFC, enables short-range wireless communication between compatible devices. Behind these convenient interactions, the NFC antenna is a critical component of the communication system. It helps transmit and receive the electromagnetic field required for NFC communication and can have a significant influence on the performance of the final device. BAT Wireless provides NFC antenna solutions for a range of connected applications, supporting different product structures and integration requirements. Whether an NFC antenna is being developed for payment equipment, access control, smart electronics or an IoT device, selecting an appropriate antenna is an important part of the overall product design. ...
